Welcome:

Hi. My name is Mona. I’m the creator of Take Care Mona aka TCM. This blog is a declaration to love and take care of me. Consider this somewhat between a self help blog and a diary. Come. “Lay your head on my pillow.” Let’s talk life, love, disappointments, wins, and losses. Let’s talk about any and everything. Let’s talk bad habits and not learning from past mistakes. Let’s talk strategies and ways to show up for ourselves. Let’s talk self…care, love, awareness, discovery, worth. I don’t have the answers Sway, and I’m not an expert, but I notice some things in my life that need improvement, so here’s my deep dive….my thought process…my lessons… my stories…my attempts…my documentation. The evolution will be written.

Self love is the best love

It's not selfish to love yourself, take care of yourself & to make your happiness a priority. It's necessary.

TCM Blog Post 1

Once upon a time not long ago i was a….girl….who lost herself. For a hot potato of a second, I genuinely was somewhere lost in the deep. Now I’m back and here to confirm as a matter of fact it very well is cold in the deep! That particular stretch of time isn’t the fondest of memories, but as a silver lining, they do say in order for you to find yourself…you do have to lose yourself, so NOW here I am, founder of TCM, coming with a reminder to take care of yourself. It’s 2020 and between surviving a pandemic, fighting racism, and maintaining social distancing emotions are high. But so are our chances of survival! (Hi- five. Speak that ish into existence).

TCM Blog Post 2

I was rolling through the “two-five” 6 with my woes. You know how that ish goes. But no really you know how that ish goes. Late night driving around the city probably on the way to some wrong decision. Tell me I’m not the only one who’s been there. Please. Tell me I’m not alone. At least not in this capacity.
